iMethods is currently seeking a Clinical Project Manager for one of our clients located in Jacksonville, FL.
REQUIREMENTS:
- The candidate must have 5 plus years of healthcare related IT project management experience. SharePoint, Web Access and EMR experience being given priority.
- The candidate must exhibit quality verbal and written communication skills and is expected to excel in a fast paced, challenging electronic healthcare environment.
- Current PMP certification is desired.
- User / patient experience preferred
- Web/ patient portal preferred
- Sharepoint is a huge plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Clinical Project Manager works with IT and IS and helps establish and implement standard practices and information technologies across the organization by leveraging best practices and ensuring effective system utilization.
- He/she will develop project scope and detailed work plans for all assigned projects and coordinate tasks within the plans.
- Manage all cross-functional aspects of the project; create the defined deliverables within the authorized budget and within an approved time schedule. Establish and maintain a usable and well-communicated schedule for all phases of a project. Delegate and manage tasks of the other functional core team members and manage scope to ensure the projects deliver on timeline, scope, budget and strategy expectations.
- Ensure timely resolution of issues and identify, track, manage, and mitigate risk on specific client engagements.
- He/she will provide on-going IT support for customers in assigned areas of system responsibility.
- Communicate regularly with Functional Managers, Steering Committee Members, Executive Sponsors and other project stake holders to appraise all regarding status of the project
- Provide leadership to warrant team progress, resolve conflicts within the team and outside the team, and ensure project goals and assignments are achievable.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field is highly preferred
- Over five years IT implementation and/or project management is required
