Chris Gambino goes on the air!
 iMethods' Chris Gambino got the chance to be "Sports Writer for a Day" after winning a contest through the Florida Times Union with sports writer Garry Smits.
What exactly does that mean? Chris will be at The Players Tuesday, May 5 when most of the pre-event news conferences are being held. Chris will be in the TPC Sawgrass Media Center and interview areas on the course while players such as Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and defending champion Sergio Garcia are grilled on their prospects for the week.
"I am already thinking of hard questions to ask--what do I have to lose?"
Chris will also get a tour of the ShotLink trailer, where PGA Tour Computer Experts crunch the numbers. And as the contest states, Chris will get to be a sportswriter for the event!
"I have set up a blog on Jacksonville.com and willl blog three times during the day on Tuesday. In addition, I will be part of the Golf Radio Show's Players Championship coverage this week, appearing with Mark Spencer and Garry Smits after one of the competitive rounds"
